Damsel Dungeon — Strategy Guide

Comprehensive mystery dungeon guide: dungeon mechanics, boss & rescue heroine blessings, full item and monster database.

🏰 Dungeon Overview

Damsel Dungeon features three unique dungeons with different depths, mechanics, and bosses.

10F

Trial Cave

A 10-floor beginner dungeon designed to learn core mystery dungeon mechanics. No curses, no shops and no monster houses. Only staves start unidentified, rings never drop, and arrows are limited to Wooden Arrows.

👑 Boss Encounters

Lily
10F Lily The Manor Ghost
30F

Captive Labyrinth

The main 30-floor dungeon. Features shops, monster houses and curses (8% of dropped rings). Staves and rings start unidentified, and weapon/shield enhancement values stay hidden until you equip them. This is the only dungeon connected to the town vault — bring items home with the Scroll of Escape.

👑 Boss Encounters

Emma
10F Emma Warden of the Vault
Tiffany
20F Tiffany Champion of the Arena
Imperia
30F Imperia Empress of the Abyss
Endless (∞)

Abyss of Lust

High-difficulty endless dungeon. Herbs, scrolls, staves and rings all start unidentified, and nothing carries over to the vault. A boss waits every 30 floors (30F / 60F / 90F, then 120F, 150F and beyond). From 31F onward only the Abyss-exclusive "Depth Series" monsters spawn, and the whole difficulty curve is stretched to 2x length.

👑 Boss Encounters

Regina
30F Regina Queen of Dominion
Seraphina
60F Seraphina Lady of the Sanctum
Eleanor
90F Eleanor Mistress of the Throne

👑 Boss Heroines (7 Bosses)

Powerful boss monsters awaiting at key dungeon milestones. Defeating them unlocks reward CGs. HP and ATK are the real values on their first encounter floor - bosses scale off that floor's regular enemies, so a rematch deeper down hits far harder.

Sleep Completely incapacitated for several turns (Does not wake on damage). Completely incapacitated with Zzz indicator. Turn expiration or drink a Healing Herb.
Slow Can only act once every two turns. Acts only once every two turns. Turn expiration or drink a Healing Herb.
Fear Forcibly flees from nearest visible enemies. Cannot attack. Flees away from player without attacking. Turn expiration or drink a Healing Herb.
Poison Base Power is permanently reduced by 1 per stack. Enemy attack power is permanently halved until defeated. Drink an Antidote Herb or Power Herb.
Blind Enemies, traps, items, and stairs become invisible. Loses player tracking and moves only in straight lines. Turn expiration or drink a Healing Herb.
Bind Cannot move at all, but attacking, shooting arrows, zapping staves and using items all still work. Bear Traps bind for 5 turns; tentacle monsters (binder) bind for 3 turns. Not applicable — enemies cannot be bound. Turn expiration only. Healing Herbs do not remove it.
Mute Cannot consume mouth items: Herbs, Onigiri, and Scrolls are disabled. Silenced: All special monster abilities are permanently sealed. Descend to the next floor via stairs (Lasts whole floor).

💡 Dungeon Survival Tips

combat

Master the 1-Turn Bump & Wait Rhythm

In mystery dungeons, enemies only move when you act. Never rush toward an enemy in a wide room—step back into a 1-tile corridor so they approach you first and you get the opening strike.

survival

Fullness & Onigiri Management

Starvation deals 3 damage every single turn once Fullness hits 0. Fullness drops by 1 every 10 turns, so a full belly lasts about 1,000 turns. Eat a Rice Ball when fullness drops below 40% and a Large Rice Ball below 10%. Freeing Mei slows the drain by 1.5x, and any herb you drink also restores 5 fullness.

identification

Safe Unidentified Item Testing

In the Abyss of Lust, all consumables start unidentified. Test unverified scrolls only on room stairs after clearing nearby monsters so you can safely escape Mute or Trap traps.

progression

Rescue Cages: Permanent Meta-Progression

Rescuing caged heroines permanently unlocks powerful passive Blessings (Max HP, ATK, DEF, Regen, Hunger delay) that apply to ALL future dives. Each cage sits on a fixed floor and stops appearing once that heroine is freed.

progression

Missed a Cage? The Abyss Gives Second Chances from 50F

Fixed cages can be lost forever to a single Pitfall Trap. From floor 50 of the Abyss of Lust, every floor has a 12% chance to spawn the cage of a heroine you have NOT rescued yet, so roughly 20 floors of grinding will hand you back almost any missed blessing.

combat

The Depth Series and the Lv Suffix (31F+ in the Abyss)

Floors 1-30 of the Abyss reuse the familiar roster. From 31F, 22 Abyss-exclusive monsters spawn across 6 major families (Crest brood, Tentacles, Abyss Wyrms, Succubi/Lilith, Undead, and Fiends), giving each depth band 6 distinct types. These are the only enemies that show a Lv after their name; Lv = round(effective floor x tier factor), the same formula that drives their HP and ATK, so a tier-3 monster on the same floor shows a higher Lv than a tier-1 one. Watch out for the tentacles: their bind cannot be cured, only waited out.

survival

The Abyss Difficulty Curve Runs at Half Speed

In the Abyss of Lust, enemy HP, ATK, EXP, gold, trap damage and every floor-scaling item (Staff of Bolt, Scroll of Thunder, Staff of Mending) are calculated from an EFFECTIVE floor of 1 + (real floor - 1) x 0.5 rather than the displayed floor number. Floor 100 is therefore as strong as floor 50 used to be. Income per floor is scaled by the same 0.5, so grinding twice as many floors does not make you twice as strong — the curve is stretched, not softened. Displayed floor numbers, boss floors and the atmosphere bands still use the real floor.
